Drop off for the fourth annual Children’s Clothing Drive will be on Sunday, July 5, from 9 to 11 a.m., and on Monday, July 6, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., and 7:30 to 9:30 p.m., at Congregation Keter Torah’s main ballroom in Teaneck. The event benefits community members.
The collection is for children’s clothing, shoes, and coats (size infant to 14) in very good condition, with no holes, stains, or rips. No school/camp/personalized tee shirts will be accepted.
If donors can presort clothing and label it by gender and age, that would be helpful. Leave bags outside the shul.
Volunteers are needed to help sort and label the clothing from July 5 to 8, as well as to work during the shopping days, July 9 to 17.
New this year, a rummage sale is set for Thursday, July 16, from 7 to 9:30 p.m. Proceeds will go to Yad Leah to help offset the cost of sending the leftover clothing to Israel.
If shopping for your children is a hardship, you are welcome to shop at no cost during the shopping days. Shopping is done privately and anonymously. You can choose from private or semi-private appointment times.
