This month, artist Kathy Eisler presents “Inspirations Coming to Life,” a vibrant collection of original artwork, at the Kaplen JCC on the Palisades in Tenafly.

Ms. Eisler’s painting and sculpture is personal; its goal is to bring viewers into a world shaped by imagination, emotion, and expressive color. She works to evoke emotion and reveal distinct personality through bold color choices and expressive, painterly brushwork.

She earned her BA from Rutgers University and continued her studies at the School of Visual Arts and the Art School at Old Church. A certified K–12 art teacher, she has led workshops and enrichment programs for children and adults in Bergen County, including at the Kaplen JCC on the Palisades.

She teaches figurative sculpture and ceramics to adults, and painting, drawing, and ceramics to children, at the Art School at Old Church. Her work has been exhibited in many venues, including the Belskie Museum of Art & Science, Inside-Out Gallery, County College of Morris Art Gallery, Rutgers University, and the Mikhail Zakin Gallery. Her artwork is also in private collections across New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, and Massachusetts.

The exhibit at the JCC will be up through June 30. There will be an artist reception on Wednesday, June 10, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. For information, call Fran Koszer at (201) 408-1404.
