Rachel Goldberg-Polin, whose 23-year-old son, Hersh, was taken hostage by Hamas at the Nova music festival on October 7, 2023, and murdered on August 29, 2024, speaks at Jewish Federation of Northern New Jersey Women’s Philanthropy spring luncheon. She’s the author of a new memoir, “When We See You Again.” The Wednesday, May 6, program begins at 10 a.m., at the Rockleigh, and will be moderated by Janice Lieberman.
Honorees include Karen Scharfstein, who will receive the Ner Tamid award for exemplary leadership; Shelley Gershon, the Hineni award-winner for outstanding dedication; and Meghan Cutler, this year’s Or Chadash Young Leadership awardee.
