A group of congregants from Congregation B’nai Israel in Emerson, accompanied by the shul’s Rabbi/Cantor Lenny Mandel, performed Israeli and Yiddish songs in honor of Yom Ha’Atzmaut, Israel’s Independence Day. There were two concerts, one at the synagogue and one at the Jewish Home for Assisted Living in River Vale.
