Rockland County’s Holocaust Museum & Center for Tolerance and Education presents “Sacred Scrolls of the Holocaust” in August.
The Holocaust destroyed millions of lives along with centuries of Jewish wisdom and culture. As the Nazis invaded Europe, they plundered, burned, and desecrated ancient texts and Torah scrolls on their way. The exhibit explores the tragic history and invites you to learn about the rescue of one beloved family Megillah from the ashes.
The museum is housed at Rockland Community College in Suffern. Viewings will be available during the museum’s regular hours and tickets should be reserved in advance.
