Baumans are honored
Rabbi Mark and Esther Bauman
Rabbi Mark and Esther Bauman of Teaneck were honored as parents of the year at Yeshiva Rabbi Samson Raphael Hirsch. The school is in Washington Heights, in northern Manhattan, the dinner was at the Teaneck Marriott at Glenpointe, and the couple and their 12 children all are alumni or students of the school. Rabbi Bauman is a Judaic studies teacher at the Rosenbaum Yeshiva of North Jersey.
The school, also known as Breuer’s, was named for its founder, Rabbi Joseph Breuer, and is run according to the philosophy of Rabbi Breuer’s grandfather, Rabbi Samson Raphael Hirsch.
