Summer kollel in Fort Lee
For the first time in the history of the Jewish community of Fort Lee, the Sephardic Congregation of Fort Lee will host a Summer Kollel. Rabbi Netanel Wiederblank and eight other rabbis will lead the program, with daily learning and Torah teaching, from July 9 through August 18.
Rabbi Wiederblank teaches Tanach, Talmud, halacha, and Jewish philosophy to college and rabbinic students at Yeshiva University. He also is the rabbi of the Yeshiva Community Shul in Washington Heights.
All are welcome to the program launch on July 9, which begins with Shacharit at 8 a.m.; breakfast will follow. The shul is at 323 Tom Hunter Road in Fort Lee. For more information, call Adam Abergel at (646) 248-0467.
