Rockland shul honors Rabbi Emeritus Kurland

Rabbi Paul M. Kurland was given the honorary title of Rabbi Emeritus at Congregation Shir Shalom in New City; it was in recognition of decades of service to its congregation.

For more than 29 years, Rabbi Kurland served the Nanuet Hebrew Center and Congregation Shir Shalom with spiritual guidance, inspiring teachings, pastoral care, and steadfast commitment to Jewish life. He helped shape the identity and strengthen the congregation’s foundation and inspired generations of families with wisdom, kindness, and faith.
