Preservation Commission honors Leslie Frucht

Leslie Frucht, the chair of the Fair Lawn Historic Preservation Commission, earned Preservation New Jersey’s 2025 Preservation Stewardship award at the organization’s annual awards ceremony. The program was held last month at the historic Masonic lodge in Trenton. This award recognizes Ms. Frucht’s outstanding contributions to strengthening the historic and economic vitality of Fair Lawn through her leadership of the borough’s Historic Preservation Commission and her service as a trustee of Fair Lawn Main Street, Inc.
She also has a long and distinguished record of community service, which includes being the administrative secretary of the Garden State Region Women’s League of Conservative Judaism, chairing the Torah Fund at the Fair Lawn Jewish Center/Congregation B’nai Israel, and serving as president of the Fair Lawn Jewish Center/Congregation B’nai Israel Sisterhood.
