JNF inaugurates breakfast for Israel
The Jewish National Fund of Northern New Jersey hosts its “Inaugural Breakfast for Israel” on Sunday, May 7, at the Rockleigh in Rockleigh. Registration will open at 9:30 a.m., and the program will begin at 10.
Joe Hyams, the CEO of HonestReporting, will be the guest speaker. Mr. Hyams, who fights to improve Israel’s image abroad, will speak about the state of anti-Israel bias in the media and offer practical tools to counter it effectively.
JNF works to enhance the quality of life in Israel and translate these advancements to the world beyond. It greens the desert with millions of trees, builds thousands of parks across Israel, creates new communities and cities for generations of Israelis to call home, bolsters Israel’s water supply, helps develop innovative arid agriculture techniques, and teaches about the founding and importance of Israel and Zionism.
The breakfast is free but registration for the event is required. Go to jnf.org/breakfastnnj. Dietary laws are observed.
