Teddy bears stay, kids go home at GBDS sleepover event
The Academies at Gerrard Berman Day School in Oakland holds its first annual “Stuffed Animal Sleepover” on Saturday, January 26. The 2- to 8-year-olds are welcome from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.; their stuffed animals will stay all night. Children’s author Amalia Hoffman will present a Klezmer Bunch program, with stories and puppets for the children and their stuffed friends; the children will pick up their stuffed animals on Sunday morning at 10.
Bring a favorite stuffed animal and wear pajamas. There will be a bedtime snack. Anyone who brings two friends will receive a signed copy of Ms. Hoffman’s book.
