Sinai Schools’ art show celebrates students’ artistic creations

Sinai students and families celebrated their creative accomplishments at the school’s Unique Inspirations student art show on May 7. The display, featuring the work of students at Sinai’s New Jersey schools created through the Paley-Mironov art therapy program, was held at Congregation Beth Abraham in Bergenfield.
The art show, sponsored by Bear Givers, has been a highlight of Sinai’s academic year since 2014. It is an opportunity for students, families, and community members to come together in person and celebrate the students’ artwork.
For many Sinai students, art is a tool that helps them communicate, making the messages on many of their canvases both meaningful and inspiring.
A second art show, featuring the artwork of students at the Irving Montak Sinai School at SAR Academy and Sinai at Yeshiva of Central Queens, will be held on Wednesday, June 7, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at a private home in Queens. RSVP to citshakov@sinaischools.org to receive the address.
The artwork is also available to view online and to buy on canvas, mug, mousepad, and greeting cards; to learn more, go to sinaischools.org/artshow. All proceeds support Sinai’s Paley-Mironov art therapy program.
