Rockland community welcomes Jewish educator, Dr. Zohar Raviv

Dr. Zohar Raviv, international vice president of education for Taglit-Birthright Israel, an acclaimed educator and Jewish thinker, presents “Jewish Thinking Turned Upside-Down.” The program is set for Tuesday, March 7, at the New City Jewish Center at 7:30 p.m. He will discuss “God is Not a Religious Idea” on Wednesday, March 8 at 12:30 p.m., at the Rockland JCC campus.

He will focus on what the next generation thinks about being Jewish and what can be done about it for the Jewish future.
