Pfizer chairman/CEO to be honored by Israel’s largest university
The American Friends of the Open University of Israel, Israel’s largest university, will celebrate its 50th anniversary with a gala in New York City on November 20. The program honors Dr. Albert Bourla, chairman and CEO of Pfizer Inc., for his work with the development of the Pfizer-BioNTech Covid-19 vaccine, and for his unwavering support of Israel and the Jewish people.
Dr. Bourla is a role model for Open University students, 40 percent of whom are studying STEM. His lifelong contributions to healthcare and his leadership, which is framed by Jewish values and ethics, are an inspiration to them.
