Last week, the Gontownik family hosted a Norpac pro-Israel meeting for Senator Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.), the Senate majority leader, at their Englewood home. The group held a roundtable discussion with the senator about the U.S.-Israel relationship and recent aggression by Iran.

Miriam and Allen Pfeiffer flank Representative Dan Lipinski.

Miriam and Allen Pfeiffer welcomed back Congressman Dan Lipinski (D-Ill.), who represents Chicago’s western and southwestern suburbs, to their home for a Norpac meeting. In 2015, Mr. Lipinski was one of two dozen members in his party to vote against the Iran deal in the House of Representatives. He is a co-sponsor of H.R. 246, a bill opposing efforts to delegitimize the state of Israel and fighting the effects of the Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions Movement targeting Israel.
The bill has gained wide support in both parties.

Both Mr. McConnell and Mr. Lipinski are up for re-election in November.
