The Jewish Learning Institute continues a five-week Hebrew reading crash course on Wednesday, August 7, at 7:45 p.m. Rabbi Mendy Gurkov leads the new flashcard-based language course, “Read It In Hebrew,” at the Chabad Center for Jewish Life, 815 Ringwood Ave., in Wanaque. Registration is open at Temple Emanuel of the Pascack Valley in Woodcliff Lake for “Mastering Hebrew II,” for adults who know the Hebrew alphabet and want to learn to read Hebrew.
