Dr. Deane and Susan Penn recently hosted a delegation of Israeli healthcare professionals in their home. Dr. Mira Rosen, who has a practice in aesthetic medicine and homeopathy in Nahariya, northern New Jersey’s sister city in Israel, was the speaker. The reception at the Penns’ home was the culmination of the Jewish Federation of Northern New Jersey’s Partnership 2Gether 2017 Medical Exchange between Nahariya and northern New Jersey.
Dr. Rosen spoke about the cosmetic procedures she uses to help her patients look younger, and how looking younger has a positive impact on a person’s spirits, and so helps him or her remain healthy.
Sharon Mann, the international liaison for the Galilee Medical Center, which is just outside Nahariya, discussed the role the hospital has played in bringing wounded Syrians to its hospital for treatment, and to other Israeli hospitals as well.
