iCAN teens trade topics with STEM Israeli delegation
The Jewish Federation of Northern New Jersey’s iCAN Leadership students and the Scott Pazer STEM delegation from Israel met last week to discuss their strong Jewish identities and commitments.
JFNNJ director Ariella Noveck led the group through a conversation about how challenging it can be when you step outside your comfort zone and experience something new. Charlotte Korchak, StandWithUs’s director of international student programs, discussed how media influences the way Americans see Israel, and how that differs from Israelis’ view of their country.
