Why He Went to Hebrew School

From Talk, an interview in the Times with criminal-defense lawyer Joseph Tacopina, who defended A-Rod:

You grew up in Sheepshead Bay, and yet you went to Yeshiva of Flatbush for elementary school.

My mother and father quickly determined that the best education I was going to get as a young child was at Yeshiva, instead
of getting beat up at P.S. 12. I still have my yarmulka.
