The Kaplen JCC on the Palisades in Tenafly sponsors the third annual Leon Rubach Ride For The Living, the community “Satellite Ride for The Living,” outside, on Sunday, July 10. The inspirational 75-minute stationary bike ride begins at 10 a.m., — check-in is at 9:45 — and features three JCC group exercise instructors. There’s an after-event reception at 11:15.
The annual Ride for the Living is an annual bike ride through the Polish countryside from Auschwitz-Birkenau to the JCC in Krakow.
The ride is sponsored by the Rubach family and is named for Leon Rubach, z”l, who survived the Holocaust as a hidden child in Poland.
