Rockland women’s network to host breakfast
The Rockland Business Women’s Network will host its annual Women of Achievement Breakfast on Tuesday, June 11, at 8 a.m., at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Suffern. Its theme will be “Celebrating Our Past: Investing In Our Future.”
Robin Rosenberg, founder of Garner Historic District, and Emily Dominguez, founder of Blu River Marketing and deputy mayor of the Village of Haverstraw, are this year’s RBWN Women of Achievement award-winners. They will be recognized for their outstanding professional accomplishments and contributions to the Rockland County community. RBWN board member Lisa Falone of PayServ will receive the Service Woman of the Year award for her work on behalf of RBWN.
“This is the 40th year that RBWN has been supporting women in business in Rockland County,” RBWN’s president, Nancy Seeback, said. “The theme reflects our pride in our founders and past board members and our continued commitment to investing in our members with the establishment of the RBWN Women’s Professional Development and Scholarship Fund.”
At the breakfast, $1,000 scholarships will be presented to two high school seniors. One is a student from Rockland Community College, and for the first time the second one is a BOCES graduate. Both are continuing their education and training. Register at www.rbwn.org.
