Rockland goes to Israel
Temple Beth Sholom in New City hosted its own Israeli exchange program in April. Many congregants who were involved with the exchange students’ visit to Rockland traveled to Israel to reconnect with them, see their school, and experience their country. In total, eight adults and 11 children from Beth Sholom, pictured above, spent six days in Israel; two of the boys even celebrated their bar mitzahs there.
