Rallying for Israel

The Jewish Federation of Rockland County held a rally on Nov. 18 in support of Israel during the most recent eruption of violence from Gaza. The terrorist group Hamas, which controls Gaza, unleased a rain of misiles on Israel, many of which were thwarted from landing by Israel’s Iron Dome defense sytstem, developed with the United States.
The rally lured about 250 people to the Rockland County courthouse steps in New City. Rabbis and public officials spoke about the need to show Israel strong support in the face of such attacks.
