Program offers hard facts on human trafficking

Lauren Hersh, an expert in international gender violence, discusses “Human Trafficking — It’s Impacting Our Children — It’s On Us To Be Plugged In” on Wednesday, January 18, at 7 p.m. The talk, sponsored and hosted by the Jewish Federation of Northern New Jersey at its Paramus headquarters, includes a performance of “A Day in the Life” by teenager Katie Cappiello.

Mayte Bluestein, Michal Levison, Rachel Lohman, and Benay Taub are the evening’s chairs. Federation sponsors are Women’s Philanthropy co-presidents Dana Adler and Geri Cantor, Jewish Community Relations Committee chair Ron Rosensweig, and the Leadership Network Advisory chairs, Sarah and David Nanus.
