Praise for the military

The world is a tough neighborhood. There are natural disasters (earthquakes, tsunamis, floods, etc.) and man-made dangers and threats (rogue nations and terrorism). We are a fortunate nation. We have a civilian-controlled, volunteer military that is dedicated to serving our national interests.

Today, once again, our military is protecting us and our allies from man-made dangers and saving and helping victims of natural disasters. Our military has earned and deserves our respect and gratitude.
