Paramus readies Relay for Life

Paramus readies Relay for Life

Paramus will hold its seventh annual American Cancer Society Relay for Life — a celebration of the yearlong effort to raise funds for nonprofit — on the weekend of June 14 and 15 at Paramus High School. So far, more than $53,000 has been raised; the goal is $115,000. An opening ceremony will feature the Paramus Boy Scouts presenting the colors, followed by speeches. The Sparks Special Needs Cheerleaders are making posters for each of the survivors and will be cheering them as they walk. Activities, games, prizes, music, and food all are part of the fun of Paramus Relay.

Online registration is open until June 13 and there will be onsite registration as well. For information, go to RelayForLife.org/ParamusNJ, or call the American Cancer Society at (800) 227-2345.
