March Mitzvah Madness by JFNNJ
The Jewish Federation of Northern New Jersey holds its annual Super Sunday fundraiser on Sunday, March 3. People are encouraged to make a donation online or by phone, and the federation is looking for volunteers to sign up to make calls. The event is co-chaired by Judy Taub Gold and Dr. Bram Alster.
There will be a mega food drive on Sunday, March 31; food will be delivered to local pantries. It is sponsored by Paramus and Englewood ShopRites, G.B. Allen Associates, Inc. CPAs, and Hearts for Hunger, and chaired by Vicki Monaloy, Barbara Selman, and Michael Semegran.
JFNNJ also is encouraging pop-up mitzvah stands throughout March; volunteers can host an event to pack snack packs, create activity books, or assemble smile kits.
