Library conference in June

The Association of Jewish Libraries will hold its 52nd annual conference, “The Sky’s the Limit: The Next Generation of Judaica Librarianship,” from June 19 to 22, at the Hebrew Union College in Manhattan. Judaica librarians, archivists, scholars, educators, authors, and others all are welcome.

Highlights include a look at the future of Judaica librarianship as the profession enters the digital era, as well as at AJL’s international work. Presenters will speak on topics including Jewish literature for children, the history of the Hebrew book, new trends in cataloging, and how to maintain a quality Judaica collection. Daily and full conference registration options are available, and kosher meals are included. For information, go to www.jewishlibraries.org.
