Lecture to look at ISIS and Iran

Professor Zaki Shalom, a senior staff member of Ben-Gurion University’s Research Institute for the Study of Israel and Zionism and a member of the research staff at the Institute for National Security Studies, will discuss “Between ISIS and Iran: Threats and Opportunities Facing Israel in a Newly Emerging World Order,” on November 19 at 8 p.m. The lecture will follow minyan at Temple Emanuel of the Pascack Valley in Woodcliff Lake. It is sponsored by American Associates of Ben-Gurion University of the Negev Greater New York region in partnership with the synagogue.

In 2007, Dr. Zaki was awarded the prime minister’s prestigious David Ben-Gurion memorial prize for his book, “Fire in His Bones.”
