Lebanese monkey visits Israeli farm.

The border crossing was more mischievous than military.

Shortly after a French nun named Beatrice Maugerin reported that her monkey had gone missing from her “Ship of Peace” farm in southern Lebanon, Israelis in northern Israel reported multiple monkey sightings.

The farm reportedly is intended to be a safe place for Muslims, Jews, and Christians. There are no indications that it was not a welcoming place for African primates as well.

Nonetheless, the monkey, who has not been named, has been spotted in a number of Israeli communities, several miles from the Israeli border.

As of this writing, the monkey has yet to be captured.
