The Kaplen JCC on the Palisades in Tenafly hosts “Lavish Lunches Evening Edition,” outdoors at a private home in Tenafly. Proceeds support programs and services for seniors. The Shavuot-inspired evening, emceed by Emmy-Award winning reporter and author Jen Maxfield, includes small bites, festive drinks, a DJ, and a program with Dr. Tal Ben-Shahar, an international best-selling author and lecturer. 7 p.m. jccotp.org/lavishlunches.
