Jewish National Fund offers “The Power of Women,” a special Women for Israel celebration at Rain on Thursday, May 30, in Teaneck. It will include a strolling dinner and the “Chic Shuk” boutique at 7:30 p.m.; the program begins at 8:30.
Siggy Flicker of Tenafly, a relationship expert, motivational speaker, television personality, and author, is the guest speaker. Ms. Flicker is the daughter of a Holocaust survivor, Dr. Mordecai Paldiel of Fort Lee.
Every donation to the Women for Israel campaign made in May, up to $1 million, will be matched, thanks to the generosity of donors Lynne Merriam and Shelly Shor Gerson. Ruth Pomerantz is chair of the Northern NJ Women for Israel and Jenna Gutmann and Debbie Rogoff are the evening’s co-chairs.
