JBI offers Passover resources
As Pesach approaches — the first seder is on Saturday, April 12 — JBI Library invites people who are blind or have low vision or print disabilities to benefit from its free holiday offerings. These include accessible large print, braille, and audio Haggadot (17 different editions) that enable anyone who is reading-disabled or has trouble holding a book — a result of Parkinson’s disease, stroke, or arthritis, among other causes — to participate in the Passover tradition of reading from a shared text at a seder. JBI also offers in-person and online Passover programming as part of its Judaism 101 series. All of JBI’s services are entirely free to eligible people and are available anywhere in the United States, and around the world.
The deadline to order haggadot is March 28, and the Passover 101 program is March 27 and April 1.
