Israel Bonds Bergen County hosts Englewood community program

Israel Bonds brought 150 members of the Englewood community together, including representatives of Congregation Ahavath Torah, East Hills Synagogue, and Congregation Shomrei Emunah. The evening was organized by Esther Lerer, the Englewood community chair, with co-chairs Mark Finkel and Dr. Ronald Strobel.It generated more than $3 million dollars of investments and indications of interest for Israel Bonds.
Congregants, family, friends, and colleagues cam out to honor shul presidents Daniel Federbush of Congregation Ahavath, Dr. Jonathan Thurm of East Hill Synagogue, and Dr. Arthur Schwartz of Congregation Shomrei Emunah, who each received the Israel Bonds Unity award. Renee and MB Klyman of Ahavath Torah were the first recipients of the L’Dor v’Dor Young Leadership award.
Dani Naveh, the recently appointed president and CEO of Israel Bonds, was the keynote speaker. He discussed Israel’s accomplishments and innovations in the 21st century and the significant contributions the Jewish state makes to the world.
