Congregation Beth Aaron and the community at large will pay tribute to the legacy of the late Rabbi Yosef Weiss on Sunday, March 5, at 8 p.m. Rabbi Weiss, who died at 95 in December 2015, was a longtime rosh yeshiva at YU’s RIETS and rabbi emeritus of Congregation Moriah on Manhattan’s West Side. Speakers include Rabbis Larry Rothwachs, Nachman Lauer, and Ronny Sulimanoff. There also will be a prerecorded keynote address by Rabbi Aharon Rakeffet, rosh yeshiva and professor of rabbinic literature at Yeshiva University’s Caroline and Joseph S. Gruss Institute in Jerusalem.
