Frisch Cougars bring home basketball trophy

Finishing the season with a 13-0 record, the Frisch Cougars last week won the Yeshiva League junior varsity championship in a game against Long Island’s North Shore Hebrew Academy High School.
The dramatic championship game was a struggle between the two teams until the very end. At the end of the first quarter, North Shore had a strong lead of 21-8. By halftime, the Cougars had caught up and the score was 22-22. The two teams fought for the lead during the final stretch. And with a dramatic finish, Frisch won the game 43-30.
