National Council of Jewish Women Bergen County Section (NCJW BCS) is offering award several college scholarships to young Jewish women who are graduating from Bergen County public high schools and are planning to attend a four-year college or university this September. This is a longstanding NCJW BCS program that recognizes outstanding graduates and helps defray the increasing costs of higher education.
Among the criteria which may be considered are academic achievement, significant leadership involvement in school and/or community activities, and financial need.
Information and applications are available through high school guidance offices and on our website, www.ncjwbcs.org. Applications must be received by April 8, which will allow time for consideration of submissions and scheduling of interviews for semifinalists.
