Benefit boutique in Wyckoff
Temple Beth Rishon in Wyckoff hosts the “Ladies Night Out Boutique” to benefit Zahal Shalom on Tuesday, March 7, from 6 to 10 p.m. It will offer jewelry, gifts, stationery, active wear, children’s clothing, scarves, accessories, personalized gifts, macarons, handbags, porcelain dollars, a book signing, and more.
For 25 years, Zahal Shalom has hosted groups of 10 disabled Israeli veterans each spring. It is a heartening experience for the soldiers as well as for the Americans who host them. A bond of friendship and love develops during the veterans’ short stay here, which can last a lifetime, and it helps every participating family develop a connection to Israel.
