Author talks in person and online in East Brunswick
Author Shirley Russak Wachtel will discuss her book, “The Baker of Lost Memories,” in person and online at the East Brunswick Public Library on Wednesday, June 4, at 7 p.m.
Ms. Wachtel lives in East Brunswick and taught English at Middlesex College for more than 30 years. She and her husband have been members of the East Brunswick Jewish Center for 37 years; she is also a member of Hadassah and the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum.
Podcast host Zibby Owens called “Baker” the most anticipated book of 2025. It focuses on generational trauma and how a daughter of Holocaust survivors carries her parents’ heartbreaking loss. A question-and-answer session and book signing will follow.
