Waltuch Gallery at the Kaplen JCC on the Palisades offers Art for All: An Exhibition Featuring the Artistic Talents of Differently-Abled Children, Teens & Adults In recognition of Jewish Disabilities and Inclusion Awareness Month, which is celebrated in February across the country every year. The show will be on display through February 28, with a meet-the-artist-reception on Sunday, February 3, from 1 to 3 p.m. This year, more than 130 pieces were submitted for the exhibition, coming from 11 different schools and programs. Works include framed drawings and paintings, as well as ceramics, cube sculptures, digital paintings, photography, and more, and each showcases the creative talents of school-aged children, teens, or adults.

The show will feature a special interactive exhibit, “Wings of Inclusion,” created by participants of the JCC’s Guttenberg Center for Special Services programs. Gallery visitors can pose with handmade wings and take a photo to share with friends and family to celebrate the importance of inclusion. Photos can be shared at: #jccwingsofinclusion or facebook.com/kaplenjccotp.
