Last Sunday, students from the Bergen County High School of Jewish Studies visited the Yad Leah Volunteer Center in Passaic, where they sorted, folded, and packed clothing to be sent to Israel. The school held a clothing drive that netted 12 bags of new and gently used clothing. Jessica Sosland Katz, a BCHSJS alumnae who heads Yad Leah, spoke to the group about the importance of sending clothing for Israel as meeting a basic need. (Courtesy BCHSJS)
