On Wednesday, May 20th, at 7 PM easternJewish Currents will host a livestreamed discussion of how the Covid-19 pandemic is affecting Hasidic Jewish communities in Brooklyn and elsewhere.

Moderated by Jewish Currents Editor-at-Large Peter Beinart, this event will feature Blima Marcus, an oncology nurse practitioner, Frieda Vizel, a former member of the Satmar Hasidic community and a tour guide in Hasidic Brooklyn, and Dr. David N. Myers, the Sady and Ludwig Kahn Chair in Jewish History at UCLA.
