Shuls collect for the hungry
Members of the JCC of Paramus/Congregation Beth Tikvah’s CARE Committee, delivered the shul’s Operation Isaiah food collection to Jewish Family and Children’s Service of Northern NJ in Teaneck. The donations, to benefit the JFCS Corner Market Food Pantry, filled two cars. The CARE Committee is chaired by Sandy Alpern, Beth Chananie, and Ruth Smith. Last week, Temple Beth Tikvah’s rabbi, Brian Beal, right, and congregants Alyse Haligan, Lynn Cooper, and Janice Paul, in front, delivered 201 bags and cases of food to the Wayne Interfaith Network Food Pantry.
