Teaneck and Englewood garden clubs schedule spring plant extravaganzas
The Garden Club of Englewood is holding its annual plant sale on Friday, May 11, from noon to 6 p.m., rain or shine, in Englewood’s Veterans Memorial Park on North Dean Street. The sale will offer an array of plants, including perennials, annuals, “club-favorite” annuals and herbs, and a selection of plants from members’ gardens.
Garden Club members will be on hand to help customers select plants and give advice on planting, care, and arrangement. Sale proceeds will benefit the club’s many community projects. The Garden Club of Englewood is a charter member of the Garden Club of America. For information, call (201) 803-4956 or email jsmajeski@aol.com.
