On Tuesday, May 1, Sinai Schools will partner with Bear Givers for “Unique Inspirations,” an annual student art show and auction. The show, featuring artwork created by Sinai students, is at the at Avenue at 1382 Queen Anne Road in Teaneck, from 6 to 8 p.m. Cocktails and hors d’ouevres will be served; admission is free and children are encouraged to attend.

The show is an opportunity to experience the world through the eyes of Sinai students. Working with Sinai Schools’ art therapist Sarah Tarzik, students are encouraged to express themselves using various media, creating artwork they are proud to display and put up for auction. All sale proceeds will benefit the school’s scholarship funds.

Bear Givers is a nonprofit organization dedicated to bringing joy to the lives of children and adults with the symbolic gift of a loveable teddy bear. Its programs facilitate an environment where “givers” are empowered by bringing joy to others and enabling young people with special needs, like the students of Sinai Schools, to feel the satisfaction of being able to give back to others.

For reservations, email Kristen@beargivers.org or call Bear Givers at (212) 224-0140.
