Senior chorus makes its debut
Seventeen active seniors from the JCC of Northern NJ’s newly formed Kolot Zahav singers performed “Golden Memories: 20th Century Songs You Know and Love.” (Kolot Zahav is Golden Voices in Hebrew.) The group’s June 13 debut concert drew 90 people to the audience. The group will begin rehearsals again in September; all seniors are welcome.
JCC Active Seniors meets every Tuesday and Thursday at Temple Avodat Shalom in River Edge with exercise, a program, and a kosher lunch. The suggested donation is $5. The group is supported by Jewish Federation of Northern NJ and Bergen County Division of Senior Services. For more information, go to jccnnj.org or call (201) 666-6610, ext. 2.
