Rededicated Cardozo law school seminar room honors Ruth and Leon Wildes
Englewood Mayor Michael Wildes, the managing partner at Wildes & Weinberg, announced the rededication of a seminar room that will double as a place of worship at the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law. It’s in honor and memory of his parents, Ruth and Leon Wildes. For more than three decades, Leon Wildes was an adjunct professor of immigration law at Cardozo. He also established the Wildes Family Scholarship. Together, these commitments to Cardozo will enhance the Wildes’ legacy to the school.
Leon Wildes’ sons, Michael and Mark, his daughter-in-law, Amy, his grandchildren Raquel and Josh, and his granddaughter Jaclyn’s husband, Jake Berger, all have graduated from Cardozo. Michael Wildes is an adjunct professor there as well. He has taught several courses at Cardozo over the last 15 years.
Ezra Wildes, Avigayil Wildes, Rabbi Mark Wildes, Jill Wildes, Alice Wildes, Morey Wildes, and Alan Wildes also were at the dedication, although they are not in the picture here.
