Paramus celebrates Israel’s birthday
Rabbi Arthur Weiner coached students from the Community Hebrew School of Bergen County in a Rummikub game as part of a Yom Ha’Atzmaut program. Activities to celebrate Israel at 75 included assembling a map of Israel, Israeli games (Rummikub was created in Israel), cookie decorating, and jewelry making.
The school is a collaboration between the JCC of Paramus/CBT and the Fair Lawn Jewish Center/CBI. For information, go to CHSBC.org.
