October 7 survivor speaking locally
The Widows of Warriors Project presents “If You Saw What I Saw” on Sunday, November 17, at 7:30 p.m., at a Fair Lawn location. It features Ariella Ruback, who was an IDF border observer on October 7. Although many of her friends were murdered, she survived, and she will tell her chilling story, which was featured in a Jewish Standard story on September 5.
Ms. Ruback, a native Israeli whose parents made aliyah from Boston in 2000, is on a speaking tour in the New Jersey and New York area arranged by the Widows of Warriors Project.
Sponsoring organizations include Congregation Shomrei Torah, Ahavat Achim, Darchei Noam, Congregation Beth Tefillah, Bris Avrohom of Fair Lawn, and Young Israel.
