Not his ‘dream team’

Am I missing something? Or is Rabbi Shmuley Boteach? Surely he must know that the “courtly love” that he credits Eleanor of Aquitaine with inventing (Oct. 31) was a celebration of adultery.

And, in championing King Solomon as part of a dream team, he casually dismisses the king’s behavior as some “serious relationship challenges that might not play well with the electorate” when in fact that behavior is exactly the reverse of the rabbi’s continual praise of a warm marital relationship with one loving woman in lieu of the modern American’s tendency to use women as sex objects. Solomon’s behavior obviously shouldn’t play well with the rabbi either. Maybe he should be given the chance to re-submit names.
